Thunder is a celebration that all of Greater Louisville and Southern Indiana looks forward to every year!  If you plan on attending please make note of the following!

1.  Clarksville is the prime location to view the
      fireworks.  Generally most of the good viewing
      sites are occupied by early Saturday afternoon.
      Don't expect to "lay claim on a spot"  late
      Friday night.  Our park is closed to the public
      until 7:00 a.m. Thunder (Saturday) morning.

2.  Be prepared for all types of weather! In years
      passed it has been Hot, Cold, Rainy and even
      Snowy! Tents and other structures are
      prohibited.      

3.  You will be required to enter the event area
      via Check Points. Alcohol, firearms, fireworks,
      pets, and many other items are restricted
      in the event area.  Anyone in violation will
      will be removed from the event area.
      This is a family atmosphere!

4.  If a member of your party has health concerns
     or unable to walk a great distance, accessible
     parking is available. Remember to pack any
     needed medical supplies.  Keep in mind,
     Thunder makes for a  very long day ...
     Be  Prepared!  

5.  Plan on walking at least 5 blocks or more from
     where your vehicle is parked.  Parking is very
     limited in Clarksville.  Also plan on waiting at
     least 2 hours for traffic to clear after the event.
